IT@Spectrum was established in 1983, supplying and servicing the Canon range of photocopiers.
As a worldwide market leading organisation, Canon’s huge commitment to research and development has always kept them at the forefront of the office technology marketplace, and IT@Spectrum has built on this investment by constantly bringing these major technological advancements to the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire marketplace, through a team of professional, highly trained and dedicated local people.
In the mid 1980’s IT@Spectrum pioneered the introduction of the Colour Laser Copier, linking these devices to its client’s computers to enable electronic colour proofing and the production of short run print-on-demand colour work.
By the dawn of the 1990’s, IT@Spectrum was linking the office Black & White copier to the network to provide high quality cost effective network printing, and it now has almost two decades of experience in this arena.
As the 1990’s progressed, further functionality was added to the office copier, the devices becoming truly “multifunctional” with the ability to fax and scan as well as print and copy; the age of the Multi Functional Device (now referred to as the MFD) had dawned.
By the turn of the century the scope of IT@Spectrum’s offering had expanded, and by integrating MFDs with enabler software and its clients existing applications, it now provides a range of solutions to cater for issues that its clients have in all areas of document production, distribution, management and accountingit could provide a comprehensive range of business solutions.
As the 21st century advances, IT@Spectrum now has a solution for any issues that an organisation may have in the areas of document production, document distribution, document management and document accounting.
