Introducing Josh Powley
During October 2010 IT@Spectrum linked with Sir Henry Cooper School as part of the national initiative ‘Visit our Schools and Colleges’ week. This project is aimed at encouraging businesses to make a commitment to spend time in local schools exploring the many ways that they can help young people develop skills for employability.

IT@Spectrum supports Hull TEENTECH event
On the 14th July 2011, the TEENTECH event came to the KC Stadium in Hull, where 300 students aged 12-13 had the opportunity to try their hand at experiments, handle leading edge technology and, most importantly, to meet the engineers, technicians and scientists behind their 21st century lives.

Another Brick in the Wall
Having supplied equipment and services to the offices of the Hull Esteem Consortium - the body responsible for completing the Hull Building Schools for the Future programme - IT@Spectrum was invited to provide a case study for the Esteem website 'Yellow Brick Wall'.

IT@Spectrum’s Customer Service Director Tim Davison has worked closely with Newland Schools for Girls and the Humber EBP establishing a ‘real working life’ work experience placement for the students with the aim of them achieving an IT Diploma.
